What Kind of influencers do you follow? Does who you follow define who you are? Why or why not? How? I actually follow at least three people of each type of follower there could be. The Social butterfly are usually my friends. They always have something new thing to say. The expert... of course. I follow someone who knows a lot about nail polish. Some easy tricks to get the abstract look you desire. I myself am a trendsetter only because somethings I hear about something before society does and keep it to myself because at that moment I feel special. But a couple weeks later, everyone knows that song, dance, phrase, hack, etc.. They define me in a way that it's okay. Meaning that I have a couple friends who have to show social media what they are doing every second of the day but that doesn't reflect on me saying I do the same thing because I have interesting task but don't chose to let people know about it. They make me look like I have deleted my accounts because of how rarely I go or use them.

How is social media impacting how we remember and recount events? Social media is really changing from way back when to now. Everyday and everywhere everyone is saying whatever they feel like saying in their famous applications like Twitter, Instagram, Tumblr, and etc. but when we remember things that have happened to us, we just go back to a certain page and are able to see it. No more discussing, no more old photos, no more of the fun times. Kids are all caught up on the newest phone than how your grandparents are doing. So its good because you could post something today and remember it in a year from now but its bad because social media is just based on new updates, new technology that we don't really care about the past since the present is better. Does only documenting the "pretty" things in life affect our social media identities? Yes it does! All the ugly things got and made us be where we are now. Either short, tall, fit, fat, intelligent, or even successful our most ugliest times were some of our best. The pretty times are great as well but pretty hurts.

About Me
Hey! Welcome to my blog.
I am Annie Escobar, a freshman at Everglades High School. I am not the girliest person you could meet but I could be if I wanted to. When I started playing volleyball in 8th grade, I immediately fell in love with it. Thankfully, I still get to continue playing it here at this school as an elective. (:
I'm a sports fanatic, I'll go to soccer, football, basketball, and volleyball games to show some spirit. I love watching those games even if I'm over excessive with it. Studying is the key to success, I always do what I need to do in order to pass or move on. In the future, owning a hair salon or anything dealing with beauty catches my attention. Also, I have a weird obsession with sharks so marine biology is another choice. Now you know me pretty well, time to switch.
